Born in Florida and hardened in Tallahassee, T-Pain was a hit right away when he hit the mainstream. He was brought up and mentored by Akon, he began singing with his eclectic approach to autotune instead of rapping - and that’s where he saw major success. His records have gone platinum multiple times, he’s been #1 on the Billboard charts multiple times, and he’s collaborated with the entire music industry - including stars like Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Chirs Brown, and Kanye West. He’s also done some voice acting too - most notably for the kids show Tom N’ Jerry. And above all, Mr.Pain is a cultural icon who’s still going hard to this day. You can’t mention early 2000s rap without bringing him up, and his legacy has been cemented for a few decades now. And now - he’s just interested in throwing Mansion Parties, and showing us all why he’s still #1.
