Ahhhh - the County Fair! How we love it so! Summer breeze, big prizes and mouths filled with cotton candy, and a whole weekend FILLED with music and activities that just make us beam with gleam as we reminisce on the days back when we were sixteen! It gets real serious here at the county fair, let me tell YOU! Not only for the prizes, but for the experiences, too! And this one ain’t no different so make sure you’re here when it’s taking place  - ‘cause MIDLAND is coming to town, and they’re just about ready to take their place on stage! Right here right now on Friday July 17th, the Midland boys start our weekend off right with a whole lot of country honky tonk for the believers out there on the Pacific Coast. This is NOT a tour - so don’t say “i’ll just catch them at another date” - ‘cause when they’re gone, they’re gone, so you don’t wanna be late! 

Midland are the Grammy-nominated American country music trio from Dripping Springs, Texas - made up of Mark Wystrach (lead vocals), Jess Carson (guitar), and Cameron Duddy (bass plus vocals). They formed in 2014 and signed with Big Machine Records, blending neotraditional country with smooth harmonies and a throwback feel that nods to classic ’70s–’80s country while staying fresh. Their breakout came with their song “Drinkin’ Problem,” a witty, old-school-leaning hit about the fun woes of drinking right before they premiered their debut album On The Rocks. That album ended up going multi-platinum and scoring them two Grammy nominations (Best Country Song & Best Country Duo/Group Performance) - and they also won New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards and have received numerous CMA and CMT nominations.

Across four studio albums and countless headline dates, Midland have carved out a reputation for reviving the ethos of traditional country sounds. All thanks to their lyrics that are packed with storytelling, steel guitar, and hella harmonies - turning classic influences into modern success while packing venues worldwide. And THAT’S why you need to see them live here folks when the fair comes to town. It’s just… too good to miss!
