Nelly & Too $hort come to the Pacific Amphitheatre on Sunday, August 2nd. This stop is the only one that these two hip-hop and R&B legends are going to have as a co-headlining duo. Leave it to the folks at the OC Fair to come up with incredible pairings to get people to flock to the Pacific Amphitheatre.
It's going to be a night full of old school R&B with one of the biggest stars from the 2000s. It wouldn't be Southern California, though, without someone like Too $hort on the card. He's one of the OGs of the West Coast hip-hop movement of the 80s and into the 90s. This is one of the more well-rounded performances that you can witness at this year's OC Fair. These types of pairings are almost once-in-a-lifetime experiences. When did you ever think that Nelly and Too $hort would be sharing a stage? According to the rumor mill, there's actually a personal connection between the two. In spite of this, Too $hort wasn't even invited to the Where the Party At Tour with Nelly. Not trying to stir the pot here! Instead, this is just so you realize how rare this pairing truly is. If you're at the pit or the circle, you've got the up-close and personal experience going on. You know both of these guys love to get up on the edge of the stage to interact with fans. These spots can certainly make the concert extra special. Now, if being up close is not your top priority, then by all means look for a spot toward the middle of the amp. The front rows on the terrace level could be ideal. They give you extra leg room and a great, wide view of the show.
